It may seem a bit early to talk about inclement weather, but before the
first big snowstorm or other weather emergency hits, Iron County School
District wants parents to be aware of what the district will do during
such an event. Generally speaking the county is prepared for winter
weather and emergency closures are rare. However, in those rare
instances when an emergency closure or delayed start is necessary, the
district follows the protocol outlined here.
